By Kate Fletcher, Macaroni KID Binghamton Publisher April 8, 2025

Prepare to be dazzled by a one-of-a-kind dance experience that will light up your night! iLuminate, the electrifying dance sensation, is coming to Binghamton University's Anderson Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 6:00pm.

A Visual Spectacle Like No Other

Imagine dancers in glowing, LED suits performing incredible routines on a darkened stage, creating stunning illusions and dynamic visuals. It's a show that's truly unique and unlike anything you've ever seen.

From the moment the lights dim, you'll be transported into a mesmerizing world where music and visuals blend seamlessly. Named "Best New Act in America" by America's Got Talent, iLuminate features top dancers and choreographers, energetic music, and cutting-edge technology.

The Magic Behind iLuminate

Founded by dancer and software engineer Miral Kotb in 2009, iLuminate uses customized LED suits with wireless lighting programs to create extraordinary effects that move with the dancers' choreographed routines. Each scene unveils a new "room" inside "Club iLuminate," where music, dance, illusion, technology, and comedy come together for a thrilling, multi-sensory experience.

iLuminate has collaborated with big names like The Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, and Christina Aguilera, and has appeared on shows like The Voice, The X Factor, Dancing with the Stars, and Good Morning America. They've toured internationally, held residencies in Las Vegas (currently at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Skypod), New York, and beyond, and even performed on cruise ships! The critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency was recently honored as “Best Date Show” at the Best of Vegas Awards, and “Best New Production” at the Best of Las Vegas Awards. They have entertained audiences of all ages at theme parks and countless special events and galas, and recently, Kotb and her team created a world-class STEAM education program through the Share Your Light Foundation.
